Hello
Not sure if this is possible or if it has been bought up before but I would find it quite handy to be able to access the scratchpad when in non-flying mode, is this possible or if not would this be something that could be added easily if people wanted it?
Thanks

Why would you want to access the scratchpad while in non-flying mode?

I use it to note down take off and landing times and datcon readings and would just find it handy to be able to go to it when filling in my log book and tech log after I have finished without going back to flying mode, only a minor thing though!

Thanks for the clarification. For the time being, the minor inconvenience of having to switch back to flying mode to access it isn't great enough for us to add a new button somewhere to provide access from planning mode.

I´d love to use the scratchpad in non-flying mode as well - noting counters, pre-listening to TAFs/METARs etc...
thank you!

I agree with Tim, SD should not make a special solution for all ideas user have. So SD will stay easy to use.
KEEP IT SMALL KEEP IT SIMPLE !
